In 2001, Private High School Uwekind obtains an authorization from the Ministry of Education and Science.
Since 2011, our school is an IB World School.

Uwekind International School is authorized to implement two programs from the International Baccalaureate Organization – the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6-10) and the Diploma Programme (Grades 11-12).
To successfully fulfill the requirements of the programme, students have to:
- Study in the programme for at least the last two years, Grades 9 and 10.
- Take online exams at the end of Grade 10.
- Plan and execute a Personal project, as well as participate in extracurricular activities

International School Uwekind is an authorized school for all educational stages by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science. Upon completion of every stage, the school issues the following certificates and diplomas:
- Compulsory pre-school education certificate
- Completed grade in primary school certificate (Grades 1-3)
- Completed primary school education certificate (Grade 4)
- Completed middle school certificate
- Completed grade in high school certificate (Grades 9-11)
- High school diploma (Grade 12)
